I simply can not deny it any longer. I hate writing blog posts. Wait, I try not to use that word, I strongly dislike writing blog posts. I'm just no good at it! Is it poor blog etiquette to just post pics and skip the writing? However, I did enjoy this session! This charming senior girl (see why I don't like to write, I end up using words like 'charming') has helped ease our start in to a new school. She greeted us as we entered a room full of strangers and stood there awkwardly not knowing where to go at our first meeting. She's also given my daughter a ride home when needed and helped her to feel right at home at school, and oh yeah, she has an awesome name! ;-) Thanks for being such a blessing, you were a joy to photograph! :o)
Sometimes you have one of those shoots where the child isn't real happy and you leave wondering if you caught any smiles at all. Then you load them up and find out not only did you get plenty but sometimes those unhappy little faces can make for the most beautiful images. I love capturing it all. From the frowns to the bribery candy stuck in the grin. It just says, hey this was the way it was that day. Thanks for driving over Lynn and family! Good to see you again. I always love seeing the little ones grow.

In an effort to enjoy a relaxed holiday season this year, I will be taking limited sessions this fall. So if you are planning on fall photos, please contact me early. There will be a new session fee starting October 1st. However, I am happy to announce none of the other prices will be increasing for the third year in a row! If your session is scheduled before October 1, 2010 the old session fee will still apply. Anything booked after October 1, 2010 will be with the new session fee of $125.00.
Had the sweetest little guy over this weekend. He the biggest impossibly blue eyes ever! He had so much to say I could have listened to him all day. Here's a quick peek at him!
